If you have a dog in your car and are traveling from Asheville to Marshall this stop is a must. Give your dog a break and let him roam here on an extendable leash. It will make his day.

Great riverside park to have a picnic, dip in the river and cool off; has a deep hole behind large rock, or put in small boat for fishing. Has tables and grills. Downside - no bathrooms!
