After a week of research I came across Walnut Wood Works, and  made my decision based on their website.  In an effort to save a couple of bucks with a full remodel, I made the trip to pick up the top myself.  The staff was friend, and the top was exactly the piece needed to complete the island.  With  custom configuration, I was able order the top needed to fit my space. It has now been 3 months since I installed the top, and it is the first piece people notice in the new kitchen.  I would recommend Walnut Wood Works to my fiends ,and family who can be rather critical at times.  Great job Walnut Wood Works.

This company does "top of the line" work. Worth the visit as well if you happen to be in the area!

Bought sets of 2 steel floating shelf brackets to mount two hardwood slabs. Solid brackets, won't find anything like them in town. Trick is finding a drill guide to get straight 3/4" holes where you need them.
