This place is beautiful in the fall! Great place for a fall photoshoot, a stroll, picnic, or walking your doggos!

Very pretty if isolated place in Elgin. If you've never gone, experience it! The ducks walked right up to us. The river is calming.

Beautiful park not crowded, love our time at this park. No playground. But the kiddo will enjoy the walk to the Island.

Wonderfully quiet area in the middle of a busy section of town. Great place to wander

Busy and a little dirty but the small mouth bass and catfish are plentiful.

Nice picnic area but sometimes there are a lot of homeless people hanging out here. They don't bother anyone, but they are creepy. The island is set for some renovations and some fresh paint,so it should be even better this year.

Great place to relax and take nice pictures with your family all year round. If it had restrooms, I'd give it 5 stars.

A lovely place in Elgin, IL. Happen to find it for a picnic spot visiting my brother. A wonderfully scenic place with excellent paths for walking, running & biking. My future expectations are colorful. I salute the city. Very American!

It is a good place to go fishing, to relax on a bench and watch nature. I find it very interesting that there is a little island in the middle of the river.  There are two additions that could be added, 1 bathrooms and 2 picnic tables. The bathrooms would be a nice touch as you can't always depend on the local businesses. The picnic tables would allow you to sit back and have a little lunch while enjoying a nice breeze off of the water.
