I received terrible customer service from Ashley. I called to place a delivery and was immediately met with a negative attitude and tone, as if it was a huge inconvenience to ask for flowers to be delivered.

Last weekend I purchased a bouquet, three corsages and miscellaneous greens for our son’s reception in Tahoe City from Wanda's Flower Shop. From the time I ordered the bouquet through this weekend, I experienced nothing but unprofessional and rude attitudes from Wanda and her coworkers.

When I came in the summer to place the order for the bouquet, I was open to having all other flowers ordered through Wanda's shop. I had made an appointment, so it was not as though I came in without warning. When I was finally greeted, we were treated as a bother. Yet, there were no other customers in the store. Had I been sat down, treated well and shown the varieties of options, I would have had the entire reception’s flower needs fulfilled by Wanda’s Flower Shop. We were given a small booklet, after asking for it. We were not guided through the process or treated as a customer should be treated. After a couple of minutes we chose a bouquet and left, feeling unimportant.

Making an appointment on Saturday, September 11, at 9am I came in to pick up the bouquet, corsages and a few extra greens. Timing was crucial as our event started in an hour and a half. Wanda and her staff were rude to my daughter and me. We were treated with an unprofessional and condescending attitudes, mostly from Wanda. The quality of the flowers was good. Although, I have researched the prices of a wrist orchid corsage and know that I greatly overpaid for them, especially when two out of the three fell apart prior to noon. In addition, I believe that the greens we purchased were highly over priced.

In this economy, customer service is key to a successful business. Because of her personally rude behavior to us, we chose to do our own centerpieces. They received rave reviews. You also need to know that when asked, we explain, in detail, how rudely we were treated at your flower shop. We have a home in Tahoe City, we have a large group of individuals who will require a florist in the future. It is not only that I will not recommend Wanda’s Flower Shop, but I will go out of my way to make sure future people do not get mistreated as we did.
