We went for brunch on a Sunday to celebrate my sister’s birthday. The food was divine. In our group people had the eggs, potatoes, waffles, coffee, biscuits with homemade jam peaches with a hint of cinnamon, bacon, mimosas, and coffee. It was all delicious!  I wanted to check out the place and so they took me around showing off each level and giving me insight into the building history. I can’t wait to go go back for flights of wine!  My sister, is in a wheelchair and they made sure to make sure everything was set up for us and it was comfortable. We’ve been to other restaurants that are not as accommodating or aware of the needs of those in chairs so this was refreshing! There was a sweet family with a baby next to us and a little girl celebrating a young birthday with her family. It was upscale and friendly. I loved it and will absolutely be going back! Our waitress, Randy, was attentive and personable without being overbearing and overwhelming.

I wanted to treat my mother. This was an amazing find.  The staff are super friendly and accommodating.  I'm not sure what was most impressive,  food, grounds, or the staff. All have ensured repeated visits.  To top all that off, the price was less than I anticipated.Food: 5/5

We had a great brunch. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we got what we paid for! Steak and eggs was top quality.  Waffles, eggs benedict on crab cakes, and everything else was delicious.  Definitely a do-again!Food: 5/5

Top notch in every way.  This place even has a wonderful outdoor patio to enjoy.  The food was excellent! The bread service is a must.  The owners are involved and interested in why you are visiting there.Food: 5/5

Second time we have come here for brunch since they opened. Lovely restaurant with a great staff and terrific owners who really care about sincerity with their customers. My husband and I split their fresh cinnamon roll...highly recommend! The quiche today for lunch was fantastic. So hearty I took the second half home. Will try to always stop by on our way home to Wichita if we are visiting the KC area

March 2024  Following a show at Aztec, it made perfect sense to return here with my wife and parents. They never disappoint. Lovely atmosphere, always very friendly staff, and beautiful food. I enjoyed the lobster bisque but was especially blown away by the lobster pasta. Wandering Vine’s chef is truly creative and I greatly admire her colorful original plating.  June 2023  My parents enjoyed Wandering Vine so much that we were all excited to go back when they were in town over the weekend. Funny enough, we ate at the same table where we sat last time. This place certainly has a unique charm to it, with a nice atmosphere that you won't quite find anywhere else. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and our service was wonderful. I had the braised lamb shoulder pasta. It was cooked to perfection and the flavors were fantastic. The toasted pine nuts were a nice touch. The only thing I would have changed is substituting the edamame for something else. It added nice color, but it was a little too much crunch for my taste. My wife had the special, which was goat cheese cavatelli pasta with crab meat. Absolutely delicious. My dad enjoyed the filet mignon and we all enjoyed our wine flights--one of my favorite things about this restaurant. Mine included wines from Argentina, France, and Washington. We didn't save room for dessert, but we did get a taste of the gazpacho, which was very flavorful with a nice kick to it. They are rotating their menu in a few weeks, so definitely reason to return.  Feb. 2023  Had dinner here with my wife and parents and we LOVED it. Sometimes it can be hard to find a place that satisfies both of my parents but we all thought the food was delicious and original. The staff was extremely friendly and professional as well. The place itself is quite unique too and I would recommend it for a nice romantic dinner. We can't wait to go back.

I have been wanting to go to “the castle” since I was a kid. My husband took me here for our 4 year wedding anniversary and it was absolutely amazing. Truly exceptional food and wine selection. Sophie, our server did an incredible job and the owner even came by to congratulate us on our milestone. We enjoyed this place so much that we plan to celebrate here every year. Would recommend this to everyone!

We thought it was very good and prices weren't exorbitant. My scallops were very good though thought the slices of fruit included were a bit odd. My wife's steak was very good as well with a few very peppery bites. We'll be back sometime.Food: 5/5

I really wanted to give the Caenen Castle restaurant 4 stars but couldn’t do it. Food was great, service was perfect, and the atmosphere fun.  The hostess was the Castle owner and really friendly. Then came the waiter who was perfectly on top of his game! New what to recommend and didn’t skip a beat.  The food: - Great chicken potpie… flakey if you’re into it - Table loved the fish - Get the grilled peach salad! It’s a must! - Wine flights were fun as it’ll give you just enough to try three wines  Don’t expect this to be a large whimsical castle and instead a large house made in 1907 in the shape of castle.  Yes, I would recommend going but don’t anticipate returning for another round.

My wife and I went to Wandering Vine at the Castle for the first time to celebrate our anniversary.  The food was excellent; the service was fantastic; and the atmosphere was wonderful.  I'm considering going back for my birthday later this month.Food: 5/5
