Great salad bar and seating area. Hot food was good but lacking in variety.

Generally speaking, the food is either too salty or desperately in need. Prices range from an absolute bargain to a mind blowing expense. Recently I got a piece of steak about a silver dollar in diameter and 7 thick, which was $5.55. The sad part is that it wasn't very good, and reminded me of bottom of the barrel fajita meat that I used to feed to stray cats. Breakfast is decent, ranging from biscuits and gravy to bacon and your usual breakfast paraphernalia, all of which are neutral to negative in offense, with nothing that would ever leave you saying "damn, that was good, I'm gonna tell my friends about this". It's more like, "Good thing it's "free"". The final word is that if this restaurant was not subsidized by the Department of Defense, It would have gonna under many, many years ago. Two stars is for the airmen who work there, they're nice people.
