The Warwick Fire Department (WFD) is a medium sized metropolitan fire department serving the City of Warwick, Rhode Island and over 80,000 citizens. WFD answers over 16,000 emergency calls each year. As is the case with many modern emergency service providers the WFD is a multi-hazard response agency. Providing advanced life support emergency medical services, fire suppression, hazardous materials, and technical rescue, on land or at sea. The 200+ dedicated members of this department stand ready to protect the lives and property of the citizens they serve.
