Nice free art museum for a small town. Recommended duration 30 minutes to 1 hour. A collection of art by William Henry Singer and a beautiful piece by Norman Rockwell or among the highlights. The museum is situated in a lovely city park with the lakes and short trails to walk through. Worth a visit

We visited here last Monday for the second time around and it was closed. We Didn't realized they are not opened in Monday so we just decided to walk around. Its a beautiful park with museum, very clean and well maintained and its only free admission. You can donate anytime.
Nice, small museum. If you’re in the area, check it out.
This museum is an absolute gem. There were so many incredible original works from varying time periods. The people working at the museum that we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. The special exhibits change every few months. This museum is free also. It's worth a visit.
We had a perfect day at the museum. Situated just next to the lake at City Park, the view is lovely. The museum offers free admission and free parking so it won't break the family budget. Exhibits range from paintings by the Old Masters to Tiffany glass, Modernism and mixed media pieces created by African-American artists. Today I really enjoyed the exhibit of children's book illustrations by Eric Rohmann - Author & Illustrator who created the cover art for the book Golden Compass. Thank you to all the volunteers and members who make this museum possible for the rest of us.
A wide variety of exhibits to see they did advise in 3 of the halls no photographs which is ok for me the exhibits go around the atrium so you come back to the entrance way. Lots of parking and it’s a very easy museum to go around the setting is also very nice staff polite and professional.
Very nice relaxing museum in a beautiful park setting. The museum is fairly small. You can walk through all of it in about 45 minutes.
Great local gallery set inside the park in Hagerstown that showcases art throughout the community & the state. I especially enjoyed the Joshua Johnson exhibit, a 19th century Baltimore painter - it's not often in museums you can see the works of an artist & their style progress throughout their lives. No charge for admission though I was happy to donate after the great experience viewing the museum.
Nice local museum we can all be grateful for. Usually two exhibits plus a number of items in the resident collection. Free, donations appreciated.
