Was eating a burrito with my girlfriend parked down at the lake, at the park. It was 8 pm , yet it was dark because it was fall. Right in front of me was a sign that says the park is open until 10 pm. Blinding me with his flashlight, sheriff says "what are you doing?" I said "eating our burritos, is the park closed?" He said "no". But he asked for my liscence anyway, and ran my plates. I have say this person was extremely rude and intimidating. In fact, he was obviously trying to provoke some kind of reaction. One star .

Helpful for the most park some times the cops are not helpful they've let crimes go un looked at

Very lazy! If you want to get you fingerprints done(background check) do not go here! When you try to call and find out how to solve this issue, administration will brush it off and lie. Very disappointed at how unprofessional and genuine they are in this department of Washington County.

Gave parking tickets to annual Wash co. Park holders for parking at Lake Elmo during the hotel day of summer. Saw then on several vehicles. What a huge disconnect between the police department and the community. No signs present at the park that vehicles could not park on shoulders. Very dissapointing, makes me not want to visit these beautiful parks as often now that I know they're a money pit for the police department
