The day (Saturday) started off well and seemed to be quite efficient at first with the line moving quickly. Cracks started to appear when I was told to return home for a document which was not listed as a requirement on the website for the purpose of my visit. On my return, I was pushed from one staff member to another who had little knowledge of a New Zealand license, as the master license booklet not updated. No one particularly wanted to help provide a solution, and the front counter lady in particular was straight out rude and unhelpful. I also watched a number of staff members openly mock hispanic members of the public and their little knowledge of English. There is an extremely bad culture in the Georgetown branch of treating immigrants poorly, this needs to immediately be addressed. The security guard however was fantastic, a nice guy who checked in with me at the end as saw I was clearly frustrated with the poor service. Total visit time around 4 hours for a license change on a quiet day, not good enough

After getting my number the wait was over an hour, but it's the DMV, after all. Once I was called up everything went smoothly and very quickly. The office is nicer and newer than the others. If you have to go to the DMV, definitely go to this branch.

I’ve recently visited this dmv and I thought that they were going to help me out with my situation. long story short I’m in the process of becoming a us citizen all the updated documents I had, which was an email from uscis stating that my case status was being placed in line for the oath of ceremony, so mind you I already did the interview and everything else but the problem is that I can’t force the uscis or homeland security to rush my case or force them to send me any updates. So yeah I’m pretty much stuck and after showing them proof of everything they still didn’t give me my license

The majority of People working there are friendly, except that lady with long boot and yellow freaking hair (supervisor) . She has just moved From Rhode Island DMV to this location to freak us out. She's so unprofessional and has little knowledge of DC DMV Services and documents. She will fit better working in a Prison or a Zoo. DMV is better off with out her . DC resident shouldn't be treated by rude employees like this lady.

This DMV is not located at 3222 M St NW. It is in the same building as DSW and Washington Sports Club. Go down the escalator and to the left. You might see the sign but it's somewhat obscured. You may need an english to english translator but otherwise my visit wasn't too bad.
