Location is pretty good, there's plenty of stuff nearby. Beautiful lakefront area directly outside. Rooms are quite clean and nicely appointed. Unfortunately the front desk doesn't seem to know the area very well. They didn't seem to know that there was a 24h grocery nearby, and when I asked about a place to get a wedding card they pointed me to the dollar store rather than the massive mall that was 7 minutes away. Stay there, but use Google maps for any questions you have.

Very nice hotel. Gorgeous view and a really delicious restaurant to boot. The rooms are a bit small but that is really the only complaint I have. If you're looking for an inexpensive place to stay while you're in Burlington, look no further than here.

Great experience. Always stay here while working with the Canadian Coast Guard. Always attentive staff, rooms have been re done and the views are beautiful of Lake Ontario. They need a maintenance guy during the night though. Thanks guys!

Great location, awesome breakfast included, clean rooms. "Park and lake view" ended up being "Park view, you can see a sliver of lake if you put your cheek up to the window and look way off to the side", though.

The hotel was very beautiful. Checking in was effortless. The room given to us was very bad. It was a corner room on ground floor. The room itself was beautiful. The window was facing the patio of the restaurant attached; noise is an issue. You could hear people's conversations and chairs dragging across the floor. You could also hear everything from the washroom (I think the vent leads to the patio). When I say the patio is right outside our window, the patio was level with our room, our room being on ground floor. Therefore, the guests dining in is literally an arms reach away, meaning they could look inside. Privacy was also an issue. We did close the blinds, but why would I want to live in a dark room? Being unsatisfied, my fiancé returned to concierge for relocation. Paula was very unhelpful. She told us all rooms were booked and there's nothing she could do. I told her I knew there were rooms currently unoccupied (we checked in before 4pm, it is impossible for all rooms to be occupied). She said the noise wouldn't last all night and it would eventually stop. We returned to the room and the noise was very annoying. I returned to front desk again and requested for a relocation; she declined again. I told her I knew there is always something she could do (3 times). After the 3rd time, Paula rolled her eyes and stomped towards the back room. Her superior came out and was very kind and helpful. She (I did not catch her name) stated that she is switching my room with another guest that hasn't checked in yet. She then told us that if there's a complaint, we should return immediately and tell concierge. I told her that I complained to Paula and she didn't help me. Like i said, there is always something you could do. We were relocated to a smaller, but much more peaceful room. It shouldn't be difficult to resolve and guest's issue. In the washroom of the new bedroom, we found a previous guest's sports bra hanging behind the door. Ice maker was supposed to be on the 2nd floor. Nowhere to be found. Breakfast set up was inconvenient for short people. Some food was on the high counter (all hot food were on the high counter /table). I witnessed an older woman below 5 feet trying to reach for hot food and almost injured herself. A man and myself had to assist her with obtain her foods. I'm 5 feet tall, I was in my toes and it was still hard to reach. Keep in mind the hot waffle iron is on counter top. It's a nice hotel in a great location. I would return again just as long as the staff is nice.
