This is a nice serene place to walk. Not really a park. Surprisingly clean restroom here.

It's a great park. I do not understand the renovations. Lots of new sidewalks, but without purpose. It was fine before, kind of the the same now after the renovations. Feels like a lot of money was spent for not much gain. My kids disapprove, they miss the bandstand and the trees they used to play in.

An earlier review (8 months ago) mentioned the renovation; I'm not sure what it looked like before, but the update was very well done. Down the hill from the grocery store and playground, the park is wooded, quiet and spacious. Wide pathways accommodate strollers or wheelchairs; good sized lawn is inviting to picnic, lounge or throw a Frisbee to/at someone. Nice view too.

Lovely area for walking, near the ferry terminal.

Saw the 4th of July fireworks here. Felt like we could have been closer to the fireworks, but the cost architecture and atmosphere of the park made it a great place to hang out. 

Seems like a great place to have lunch after having lunch on Winslow.
