We are a collective of artists, activists, educators and citizens dedicated to supporting a stimulating arts environment for residents of the Collinwood neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio.
We believe that a flourishing arts community enriches a neighborhood’s quality of life both economically and culturally.
We partner with local merchants, neighborhood associations, schools and artists to offer to residents more opportunities to engage in the arts, as well as to encourage more artists to live and work in North Collinwood. We also encourage continuing education in the arts by offering a wide variety of cultural activities for residents of all ages.
Our Gallery:
We feature exhibitions of regional and national artists year round in gallery adjacent to our cafe, located in the heart of the Waterloo Arts District! We also host artist talks, and other events, such as Cleveland’s All City Art Show, and the Art for Haiti art auction, benefiting the Haiti Emergency Village Project. Past shows have featured the work of Amy Casey, Maurice Small, Douglas Max Uttter, Randall Tiedman, Gary and Laura Dumm, and Terry Durst, among others. The gallery is open whenever the cafe is, stop in! See our FB Events page for a list of our current and upcoming shows.
The Callaloo Cafe:
Adjacent to the Gallery is a cafe offering Caribbean cuisine and a full service bar. Enjoy live music and open mic nights on a weekly basis.
Hours: Tue-Sun, 4-10pm.
Check the Callaloo Cafe and Bar on facebook for more details.
