Mission

We are a collective of artists, activists, educators and citizens dedicated to supporting a stimulating arts environment for residents of the Collinwood neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio.

We believe that a flourishing arts community enriches a neighborhood’s quality of life both economically and culturally.

We partner with local merchants, neighborhood associations, schools and artists to offer to residents more opportunities to engage in the arts, as well as to encourage more artists to live and work in North Collinwood. We also encourage continuing education in the arts by offering a wide variety of cultural activities for residents of all ages.

The gallery is open whenever the cafe is, stop in! See our FB Events page for a list of our current and upcoming shows.

Waterloo arts has fantastic gallery space, but the best thing about it for me is that it is the performing space for Playwright's Local. This organization is all about promoting local ne Ohio playwrights, and producing staged readings and full shows, holding workshops, and developing new work. They are fast growing in the Cleveland theatre scene, and made a splash with an original play about the Tamir Rice shooting (Objectively Reasonable) that was directed by Terrence Spivey. It is also close to great local eateries and just down the street from the Beachland Ballroom.
