Waterville Fire - Rescue is a 24 hour fire department, with general office hours of 8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday.
The Department is managed by Chief David Lafountain. Full-time staff includes three (3) Captains, three (3) Lieutenants and nine (9) career firefighters. The department also has a 28 member call force, in the event of emergencies. Days are divided into three (3) shifts, A, B, and C. Each shift has its own crew of one (1) captain, one (1) lieutenant and three (3) career firefighters. The department also has one administrative assistant on staff during regular office hours.
