This is the nicest, cleanest dog park around. However you must be an Aventura resident to get in.

My husband & I live in North Miami thanks to google we found this to be the closest dog park in the area. (We are new to the area). Unfortunately it's ONLY for Aventura residents which the website doesn't say anything about. A nice man let us in but it's a waste of gas if you can't find someone nice. Had a nice time but doesn't feel very inclusive. The park should definitely make it a point to make sure people know it's only for residents.

I am only giving this park two stars because the majority of the people that go are very rude. I've met some nice people, but because I have larger dogs, and this park doesn't have separate large/small dog areas, a lot of the older, small dog owners tend to ridicule me and my dogs. I went one time and wanted to introduce my dogs while on the leash to one lady's small dogs so that way mine would leave them alone and go play, but when I asked if I could introduce them ON THE LEASH the woman said with a complete attitude "No I'll just leave." I know SoFlo isn't know for its hospitality but I couldn't believe the audacity of this old woman to be so stuck up and rude. Most of the people are "nice enough" about not accepting my larger dogs, but it's just an unwelcoming environment if you're not part of the "clique." The clique being old people with 5 pound dogs.
