I love the Waverly Artist Group gallery located at Waverly Place in Cary. They feature local artists and offer a very diverse section of art from oil paintings to water colors - even jewelry. The final Friday Open House are an awesome chance to meet the artists and learn more about their inspirations and personal stories and even to see featured artists in action. The gallery also offers music, food and wine at final Friday events which helps make it a special experience. I actually won a give away at a final Friday last year and used my prize toward the purchase of a Christmas gift for my mother. If you have never been to this gallery - I encourage you to make the trip. It is definitely worth it.

I've been involved with Waverly Art Group for nearly 4 years. What I have found is a gathering of some of the area's best artists.  The work includes most mediums and a wide range of motifs. If you are looking for fine art at reasonable prices then look no further. Plus on the last Friday of every month they have a party open to the public from 6-9 p.m.....food, music, drinks....a blast!

The WAG Gallery offers outstanding art by a number of local artists, many of whom also give lessons and conduct workshops for new and developing artists.  We especially enjoy Final Fridays, which are open house celebrations at the gallery on the last Friday of the month with live music, food and wine, and opportunities to meet the artists and see (and maybe buy!) their latest works.

Waverley Artists Group Gallery is a wonderful and inviting place filled with beautiful art.  The artists are fun and engaging, and final Friday events are festive with food, wine and music.  A delightful experience you do not want to miss.

I have collected for many years and I appreciate the opportunity to have such a wonderful gallery nearby. The art is excellent and the monthly gatherings to meet the artists just adds to the cultural experience. Kudos to Garry and David for developing this program.
