OMG Amanda was amazing! She paid so much attention to me and meeting my needs during my appointment.  She took her time, and the process was virtually PAINLESS!  I cannot wait for my next appointment, and for once I’m not dreading finding a waxing studio.  From here on out, it’s only going to be Amanda at Waxing the City!

Waxing the City Dallas is the absolute best waxing place I have ever been. I hated getting waxed, it was very painful and uncomfortable. But at this place they are patient and professional  every time; that Dr. Numb It serum is clutch by the way (ask for it)! I have had two Cerologists, Estara and Allie who were both amazing! It’s nice to have someone else you trust to see if your schedules are conflicting. And FYI I have never scheduled f/u appointments after getting waxed and my 6th visit will be this November. I don’t plan to stop any time soon, thanks Waxing the City for having such an amazing and professional staff. I highly recommend this place to everyone especially if you have had bad waxing experiences in the past or you are inexperienced.

First visit to this place and it will probably be my last. My appointment was at 1:30, I came in at 1:37. When I enter the receptionist tells me I am late and because another client is coming in at 2, I will probably not get the full eyebrow service. That bothered me since i am paying for the full service, but I decided to let it go since It was my fault and I was already there. The lady who did my brows was nice, but she obviously seemed rushed and didn't ask questions about my personal preference. The end result was okay, but not great. The brows looks a bit squared and unnatural. All in all, this place is not bad, but the prices are high and the services are nothing special. It would also be a good idea not to book the esthetician back to back every 30 minutes. I get that you want to stay booked, but there should at least be a  15 min gap in between so you have time to sanitize and prepare the tools you will be using. When i came in the room  to get waxed, the paper on the table wasn't changed and it looked greasy. Not to mention that if a client comes in late, the esthetician or client will not feel rushed and uncomfortable.
