Ok, so this is hit and miss.  Some times it's great and not crowded.  Other times can be crowded with people who dont watch their kids and they leave a mess.  I'm glad they made it permit required to park.  There were trashy people there often yelling profanity at kids, leaving garbage, and taking up huge amounts of space.

The water is cold so be prepared.

Nice quiet park where you can take small rafts and canoes on the water. They have picnic benches too. Beautiful.

Great spot for a family reunion! We Had A blast. Clean beach, water & facilities. Not to much to rent pavilion for the day. Loved it! Hauled in grill and bbq , swam, and dug in the sand. Great day!  Update: Springville now charges out of towners  $10. Per day. Not Cool! Salem Pond is just as fun, and it has always been free.

Wow! This place is awesome! A little sad they charge now but really. How long was a free beach in the middle of Springville gonna stay free? They have bathrooms and great parking. Volleyball area and fishing. The kids love it. We make sand castle and play in the sand all day. Remember the sunscreen...or just wear a shirt! The water is pretty cold though:)

A beach on the foothills of the mountains!  This is a great park for swimming, fishing, or laying in the sun.  Ride your bike there to free up a parking spot and have someone else pay the fee.
