Since 1910, the Boze Family has offered three generations of care and professional service to Waxahachie and Ellis County in funeral service. I've been to my share of funerals but never had to plan one. When my mom died on Christmas eve, it was overwhelming and awful and all the things you would expect. What I did not expect was how easy Wayne Boze Funeral Home, under the wonderful guidance of Brad Shotts, made this process.  
I write this review because I wanted to share for anyone who might be going through what we did. When Mom died, my sister and I were flooded with fears ... what if a funeral home we choose doesn't treat our mother well; what if there is a mistake; what if ...; what if ...; what if ... We were suddenly aware of the terrible stories you hear in the news and worried of being taken advantage of. Instead, we were given tremendous respect, kindness and because our situation is a bit complicated, very sound, professional and caring advice. 
Thank you, Wayne Boze Funeral Home, for being the kind of people one hopes to find when saying final goodbyes to a loved one.

Wayne has been there in our time of need for both my grandchild and my mother. He was both comforting and professional.

This is the absolute worst funeral home I have ever attended a funeral service at. They picked sides in a split family and did not allow my side of the family to see our deceased brother. Their reasoning was because the other side of the family requested we did not see him. So if you want to be able to say your goodbyes to your deceased family member, do not hold your visitation and funeral services here. Wayne Boze Funeral Home allowed for the other side of the family to literally blockade the front doors of the funeral home to prevent us from entering, and also allowed for that side of the family to inflict violence upon us as they silently sat by and did absolutely nothing. It was unjust, and completely unprofessional on their part for becoming involved by picking sides. And then as we stood in the parking lot discussing with our side of the family how wrong this was, the funeral director stood there and simply watched us while continuing to allow the other family to blockade the doors. The funeral home should've told the opposing side of the family that personal issues needed to be set aside, because now the father of our deceased family member was unable to say his goodbyes and was unable to attend the funeral service.
