Excellent medical care providers! I have been a patient at the Wedgewood office for many years and have been very happy with all of their services. The front office staff has always been prompt and professional during my visits. Prescription refills were never an issue and even when the pharmacy had to call to get it approved, it was ready within 24 hours. Dr. Dixon is my primary care giver even though I have seen some other doctors if he was out. Dr. Dixon and the other doctors have all been extremely thorough and patient with examinations, discussing conditions, symptoms, prescriptions and effects and advice on follow up appointments. The staff has been very helpful getting records posted for online access and assisting me in using them.

Was a loyal patient for close to 10 years. Suffered from severe chronic pain. My care there was always good. My doctor (Dr. Sine) mentioned in 2012 that he was thinking about retiring. At that time he also swore up and down to me that my care would be continued with another doctor at the practice. He promised me that he would give me plenty of notice. That he would personally make sure that my care was secured with another doctor and that I would not be left without care. February 2013 near the end of the month I make my monthly prescription refill call to the office. I get a call back that my doctor has retired. I had just seen him less than a month beforehand. He gave no notification that he was retiring. The office gave me no notification. He didn't secure my care with another doctor before leaving. The practice scheduled me with a doctor on the phone. Then a couple weeks later a few days before my scheduled appointment I get a letter in the mail that I have been terminated as a patient. No reason was given for my termination. No referrals were given to me. No help was given to me. I had to pay close to $500 to get my medical records from them. As a consequence of my chronic pain being suddenly left unmanaged, I lost my job, my engagement of 2 years was broken, and I was left unable to pay any of my bills or provide for myself. I was a model patient with a spotless record. This is what this practice repaid my decade of loyalty with. Do not trust them with your care and tell everyone you possibly can not to trust them. They need to be shutdown or completely reformed.

Had an appointment at this physician for a mild, persistent stomach pain. The wait at the office was extremely long and was eventually told the doctor wouldn't be available for the appointment and was instead seen by a physician's assistant. Upon receiving the billing statement, it turns out they bill in excess of $400/hour just to see the doctor (who wasn't even available). This does not include any other services provided, simply to see the doctor. I called the office to verify that this was the correct charge and the woman I spoke with very rudely told me that the physician is free to charge whatever he wants. I mentioned that it was a very short visit and the doctor wasn't even the person who did the examination. She told me that it doesn't matter who it was or how brief the appointment was, that's what the physician wants to charge and that's the end of it. I understand that seeing a doctor isn't going to be cheap, but charging this much for such basic services is absurd, especially when those services are poorly delivered and the administrative staff are openly rude. Don't go here.

During one visit to the Van Voorhis location, medical waste was observed on the floor and the exam room floor was visibly dirty. Then, my family switched insurance carriers due to a job change. The new insurance carrier's logo was displayed on the wall so we falsely assumed Wedgewood was a participant. At check-in (new insurance forms, etc.) my husband was not informed the costs would be out of pocket. The bill came to almost $800! When we called to ask for help or complain, we got the "that's your problem, you should have known." We'll never go back. This is not the case for the psychiatric office. They have been professional and the office is well run.

I have not had any issues with this family practice. I just moved up here and needed a new doctor and this was the first office that was recommended to me. To me, the staff and my doctor have been extremely helpful, and I don't plan on looking for another family practice.
