Wegmans is the best. I'm from the Rochester NY area and grew up with Wegs. Even worked there one summer! So glad they came to MA and are expanding. Their own brand items are fantastic. Their cafe area rocks. Olive bar can't be beat. This place beats all other MA grocers.

This is an interesting store as it is a good cross amongst a lot of stores that are out there. Some items end up being a comparable price to wholesale clubs, such as boneless skinless chicken for $1.99/lb and 3 lbs baby carrots everyday for $2.79. However, there are some people that consider a good number of their items expensive, and they have a case too as they do have expensive fish (albeit they do offer value packs of salmon and tilapia at a reasonable price) but then again, you are paying for quality. They do have quite a selection of wine as they carry anywhere from your $5 basic bottle of wine to $500 for your expensive vintages. Prepared foods are a little pricey too as even sushi at Whole Foods can be considered a bargain for the price they charge once considering how much you get in a package by weight but they do have some items that are creative. The good thing is they do have exceptional customer service.

I had heard this place was known for having a big prepared foods section, but I did not expect it to be THAT big! It's insane how big this place is. Every type of food you could think of. Sushi/burgers/baked goods/pizza everything. Along with a huge grocery store AND huge liquor store.

Just love your food store!!!!! So many new experiences. Tried Liberian Prociuto, verrrry interesting. We got a pork loin spiced up by the store. It was good and tender with a lot of fennel. We also tried your meat loaf.... BIG disappointment, My wifes is much much better. Sorry.
All in all I still love your store.
