One of the only options for grocery shopping in the immediate area. Okay prices (usually cheaper at Walmart unless it’s on sale). Store is usually somewhat clean and the staff are occasionally nice and helpful. Regularly out of stock on a few items I like, but normally well-stocked. I don’t like the self-checkout aisles as they frequently have issues, requiring an employee for assistance and they’re never, ever faster. Late at night they’re the only checkout options available. Hate them! They’re a waste of time and still require employees to constantly be helping. Doesn’t save money or labor, either.

Good grocery store, clean and good selection. They finally updated their gas rewards so you get points for every purchase instead of only when you spend $50 or more.

OMG, this was the 1st time here in probably 20 years. I could not believe the amount of groceries I got for the money I spent. My cart was full. Then on the way home stopped at Walmart and spent about the same amount, doing a comparison to see if it is worth going the whole way to Weis. Well, I tell you what, it DEFINITELY is. Cart full at Weis. 4 bags at Walmart, you decide!

The Weis market in Philipsburg PA is the best! Steer clear of the one on Plank road in Altoona. I've been there several times and have yet to meet one employee who knows what customer service means. The management is the worst.
