School starts so late that kids are roaming the streets running through traffic. My child went from honor roll getting a president Obama award to not being able to concentrate because of other children talking while instruction is going on. Teachers have given up effort. i know its very hard for them. What's the point of the magnet program. Lord knows I wish my child was not zoned here. It's a disappointment. I've witnessed enough to know that this school needs parent involvement and effort for change. And not once have there been conferences.

This School Needs Help Controlling the Bullies!!! 2-9-18 a student, school employee, and family of the girls that were Bullied were assaulted by a student of Welch Middle School and a student of Sharpstown High school. These children need to be held accountable for their actions! If you drive there during school hours watch how the Children take control of the streets. Unbelievable!! No respect for pedestrians, drivers, local businesses in the area!! I can't believe the school officials. The school board needs to address this issue before it becomes worse. Please Community, if you have a child that attends this school, call the school board to address this problem. The News needs to investigate these problem schools such as Welch Middle School!!!!

My daughter almost died she got bruse everywhere and my son passed out they forced him in the bathroom to take kocane and drink IT THEY ALSO SMOKE One of them almost rape my daughter

I love this school and I was going to go till I found out about my best friend going there and that’s when my sister freaked out and said I couldn’t go because she didn’t want my boy best friend and his friends guiding me through the school. My cousin went there and he said it was a ghetto, but fun school and I agreed because I’m a boujii preteen girl and I wish I could go but then my cousin would have to come and my family wouldn’t let her go if I went anyways. I wish I could go to Welch because that’s my dream school for some reason and I wanna see my guy best friend before I leave the school over the summer and I would kill to see him any day I love him 😍.
