The Wellesley Celebrations Committee is a nonprofit organization that honors veterans and recognizes organizations and people who serve our community. We organize the Veterans' Parade and Wellesley's Wonderful Weekend, the largest town gathering.
A series of community events culminating in an annual Veterans' Parade and Fireworks attracts thousands. The event is the single largest town-wide event held annually. First held in 1968, the parade is a public/private partnership. Ninety percent of the funding for the series of events is provided by private donations from businesses and individuals.
To honor those who serve the community of Wellesley, Ma.
