CROOKS Here is their bait and switch technique: I called Wellness Dental yesterday and spoke with a Heather, who told me that a 2-piece "flipper" was $ 175,--. I told her I have Delta Dental PPO. Then you pay only 50 % she said, got my insurance ID number, and offered me an appointment for today. The exam with x-ray was $ 35,-- she added, and my insurance would cover that fully. I went to the appointment today. They took me into the exam room with about a half an hour delay. After the exam/x-ray, they told me Heather would come to me to make me sign an estimate. By the time Heather presented me the "estimate", I spent about 1 1/2 hrs waiting. Clinics that can not keep track of timeliness should be avoided, to begin with, as they exhibit that they can not coordinate their work in a timely fashion. Here comes the best part: The "estimate" was $ 333,-- !!!. I asked how she jacked it up from $ 175,--. "I made a mistake yesterday, sorry about that. With Delta Dental, we have to go by their fees", she lied. "You knew already yesterday that I have Delta Dental, and you told me it was $ 175,--, how come yesterday the fee was $ 175,-- and today it is $ 333 ?" I asked her. She switched to the broken plate mode (repetition of her nonsense): "Sorry about the misinformation, but Delta's fee is $ 333.--". Delta Dental does NOT mandate any dental provider to charge a certain fee from patients. Delta Dental only states how much a provider can charge at the most. In short, only the maximum fee is regulated by Delta Dental. No way that Delta mandates a $ 333,-- fee for a 2-piece "flipper". I called Delta Dental, and they confirmed that they do NOT tell a provider how much they must charge the patient. They only set the limit to how much a provider can charge at the most from a patient for a particular service. Wellness Dental knows this. At broad daylight, they try to defraud the patient, shamelessly. If Wellness Dental gives you a reasonable fee on the phone, expect them to double it when you sit in their chair. Heather told me she processed a claim for $ 35,-- with my insurance. I ordered her to void it instantly, else I would file a complaint with Delta Dental. The claim was valid, she insisted, as "You were seen here". I will take all actions to have it void, I announced, as "being seen" by crooks got me nowhere, as I have to "be seen" by another dentist for the flipper, and my gas expense of $ 7,-- was a waste. Their accountant Brittany jumped into the discussion and defended their crook-practices rudely. I informed her I am calling Delta Dental and writing several reviews. She cared less. She ordered me to leave the clinic. These are fraudsters posing as dental clinic staff. DO NOT GO TO WELLNESS DENTAL. Plenty of very negative reviews everywhere on them -- read them and avoid these fraudsters.

Worst experience I’ve ever had a routine cleaning. The hygienist was super nice and she would get 5 stars. My first visit there to get a cleaning, I didn’t even get a cleaning. My son was with me, it took him over an hour for a routine cleaning, and then they didn’t even finish. We were walking out and they had to call him back to add the fluoride they forgot. After reading the other reviews and interacting with staff, I would not recommend this office. Like many things in 29Palms, it’s worth the drive to go to Yucca or down the hill.

Wellness Dental Care is the best dental office in town. They provide the best care for myself and family. My kids both 8 Y, and 4 Y old love going to the dentist and we have never had any issues with any treatments being done ( plus they get rewarded after each visit with a special gift, which they love). The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The front office staff is amazing helping me understand my treatment and insurance coverage. The assistances and the Doctors are always nice making sure I'm taken care of and not in any discomfort. The Hygienists do an incredible job cleaning all of our teeth, every time I leave my mouth feels refreshed and clean. The office is always clean and I have had nothing but enjoyable experiences coming here. I would recommend this office to anyone who is looking for a good Dental Office in the area.
