Unfortunately, I came into this bank on a Friday to cash a  certified  TELLER check then deposit most of the funds for my trip this Wednesday. I was first taken aback by the lack of knowledge (and professionalism) of the tellers (and the staff in general), singing/talking loudly about unrelated things/people/staff members, etc. The teller told me that not only could I not cash the check, but that if I deposited it that there would be a 4 day hold.  I spoke to the manager JUSTIN SILVERS and he made promises of releasing it after 3 days just to pacify me.  I called today (the third business day) and was told that there is nothing that can be done.  I called Wachovia (the 800 number) and they explained that there may have been a miscommunication but that the hold (although it should NOT have been placed) could only be released by the branch.  Mr. Silvers refused to remove the hold.  I am traveling today with no money. If there's another branch nearby, I would suggest you use it. Or change banks. That's what I'm doing.

Oozing w/ "welcome to Wachovia PR" speak and incompetence.  Instead of implementing a requested change when I visited this branch and met with a "financial specialist," he made it impossible for me to access my account online.  I await rectifying by via Wachovia 800 by phone, but the "error" may take days to fix.
