Needed a temporary checking/saving account. Wells Fargo seemed like a good place. If it's your only account it works. The challenging part is to avoid the monthly fees. I tried hard to avoid the monthly fees. I kept getting charged monthly fees. Company would not waive them for an active account. I had six plus monthly debit card transactions. I had active checks. I had an employee deposit. Still, time and time again, I ended up getting charged the monthly service fee. I decided to cease my business with Wells Fargo because I was treated more like a number for money exploit than a customer. Honestly, Wells Fargo customer service is excellent. Not one bad, upset, grumpy or arrogant employee. Well educated individuals that take pride in their job. No complaints there, just satisfied. I've tried several locations. Several through out King County. The common theme seems to be short staffing. Several open windows but only one or two tellers. Wait times can vary from quick to long waits. Starved for attention individuals will chat the teller away stalling the line. Customers too polite to say "Finish up please." Due to fear of age discrimination. My debit card got frequently stolen. Chip does nothing for security as old theft methods can still be used. I recall canceling it more than five times in a ten month period. After the fifth time I decided to go back to cash.

I went here after refinancing my car with another bank to pay off the balance that was owed to Wells Fargo. The bank that took over my payment told me I needed an electronic affidavit, like every bank had one. Raul helped me immensely, even though come to find out most banks didn't do this and tried figuring out what it was. Such a great, helpful employee! They are very lucky to have him and I am sorry I put him into such a confusing mess!

Manager Nay-Lee was very condescending and rude to me. She needs a class on how to relate with people.

I'm not even a WF bank customer and I had a great experience with the people at the Fairwood branch. Special shout out to ibi! She really helped my BF reopen his checking account under special circumstances. Thanks ibi!
