I would like to thank Michelle Galvan for all her help in opening my account. I came to wells Fargo after being told by Bank of America that they had closed my account bc of the 70.00 I owed them.  Upon inquiry it turned out that Bank of America eliminated the checking account program I had and in doing so began to charge my account monthly service fees that after they drained my account continued to incur until they closed the account. In no uncertain terms they made it clear they were not at all interested in helping me and couldn't care less if I left the bank. Explaining that my son was hospitalized,  I was a single mom to 4 kids,  and was just given 45 days to vacate our rental so if I didn't deposit this money,  I couldn't pay the deposit on our new rental and we would have no place to live. They could care less. I left in tears.  Wells Fargo was literally right around the corner so I went in,  a hysterical mess.  This nice sweet customer service rep listened to my mess,  was so understanding and supportive.  She walked me through everything with such compassion. Opened my account without any issue. Deposited checks that bank of America refused to do unless my daughter opened her own account and put them in savings so if there is an issue,  it won't affect my credit score or banking score.  She educated me on cashier's checks and how easy they r to manufacture,  walked me through how to verify cashier's checks.  She was so helpful,  and because of her help,  my family has a home and is squared away.  Thank you again! ! You have a customer for life! !

They wont cash a check they issue without charging you a fee. They issue the check and then make you pay to cash it.
