Really nice people, but parking is not that friendly if you are disabled. Wanted to charge me $10 to cash a check from Wells Fargo that I had there in a Wells Fargo account even though I had an account with them. I took my check elsewhere.

I have been a Wells Fargo member for 30 years and like my cell phone provider, while they may not be perfect during every single interaction (btw, neither am I) their long term track record has served me well and I have been able to get consistent and reliable service 98% of my time. Thanks to my local branch for continuing to represent me as best they can even through times when the higher executive level didn't.

I had a free checking account with then for 17 years. I never over drew the account. They started charging me a few dollars every month as a account maintenance fee. I can go anywhere and get a free checking. (and i did) So I very politely asked them if they could do something about the fee.  They told me they couldn’t . So asked them after 17 years you now want to charge me? They said they have to. I guess loyalty does not mean anything to them. So I closed my account. They charged my $50 to close it. What a rip off.
