Inside Vons is open until 7:00pm everyday! Including Saturday! Islt is even opened on Sunday 10 to 3pm.

You can walk into the Vons and right up to the bank window, no body scans involved or being separated from your kids. (See my review of US Bank across the street). They have bullet proof glass - is this place that dangerous? - but you can come do your banking without being treated like a criminal or ground zero of a virus outbreak.

CAUTION: I was cashing a check for $1750.00, a very simple thing, and the bank teller ( a black chick in mid twenties or older) took forever fooling with the check. I knew there was sufficient funds in the account. This was my renter's rent check which never bounced. After, what seemed like an eternity, the teller, who was SILENT during the long wait, counted out $750.00 and laid it in front of me. "Okay, seven hundred and fifty." Then she waited for my response. I just stared at her for a few moments. She knew damn well that she was shorting me a THOUSAND DOLLARS. I didn't pick up the $750.00 and didn't say a word, but just kept staring at her. And she still said nothing until finally she realized I knew she was trying to STEAL A THOUSAND DOLLARS OF MINE! She knew what she was doing. I complained to the manager. WATCH OUT! THAT TELLER IS A THIEF!
