I am in the area for a conference and needed to grab a bite for dinner and this location was within walking distance of my hotel. When I entered the facility I noticed it was extremely clean. They had kiosks close to the door and I reviewed the food choices and made my selection. I don't know if I missed seeing the option to print a receipt or I wasn't asked, but that is a small negative as I am here on business and an actual receipt is better than a charge on my statement. The food was prepared in a timely manner which I took to go. The wrap could have used a little more ranch dressing. I also purchased a salad to have for lunch today. The container was a bit smaller than I remember from the past, but the ingredients look fresh. I also ordered a frosty which was thick like I prefer. The employee I interacted with was friendly. Overall, a great experience. Parking: Lots of parking available.
Lady at the window was short and rude. Was ordering my daughter a hamburger. I told her I ordered the wrong kind. She rudely says well that’s why I asked which one. I told her sorry I didn’t know, that’s why I asked for the kids hamburger. She turned and shut the window on me. I just told her nevermind cancel the order and went to Taco Bell. A good restaurant is only good as its service!!
Worst experience ever. Spent 65$ feeding my family of 7. Spent all this money at the self serve terminal to not receive a receipt. Took several minutes to get my drinks at the pickup window as none were available like the order screen said there would be. 3 people looked at me waiting and none acknowledged that I was there. Then having to argue that I am missing food that I paid for. Everyone that was working looked as though they hated their job. I got 3 foul attitudes from 3 different people I dealt with. All 3 workers rolled they’re eyes at me for having questions or arguing that I’m missing food that I paid for. Maybe it was the crew I got, maybe it’s this location. Maybe it’s Wendy’s in general. I’m not sure. Had I known I was going to be treated so poorly I would have certainly eaten somewhere else. It seems as though the crew working did not want to do the job there are being PAID to do. If I could rate less than 1 star I would. Will not eat at this Wendy’s again.
Worst customer service EVER. I went to the drive through And the speaker was moldy....It took 10 mins for the person to get to me after saying "ill get to you shortly" but never did.... when ordered they got my order wrong. The food smelt like burning oil..and was very greasy. It tasted like rat meat and I had to throw up....Never come here...Wheres my son.
Ordered a taco salad, the salsa expired 2 mo ago! The chili was flavorless and very runny. Baked potatoes were hard.Food: 1/5
The food was discussed the fact that me and my wife didn't want to wait in the line at in and out burger we decided to go to Wendy' we went through the drive-thru I told them can I get my fries with no salt they literally just took the fries and drop the back in the grease thanking the salt will wash off of them they were not fresh they were stale the nuggets was cold in the burger was old something told me to check my food before I pulled off but I decided to trust the workers at the establishment the fact that I work next door I will never stop at this place again I really wanted my money back so bad but I had already made it to the house and was too tired from work to turn around to get my money back now I see why it's never nobody in their drive-thru or parking lot
Even after seeing bad reviews, I had to try their new breakfast muffins. The bacon egg and cheese was was good and the sausage egg and cheese was good as well although the sausage was too spicy for my hubby but I loved it. In comparison to McDonalds muffins, I prefer the eggs from Wendy's! They are fresher and cooked better as in not rubbery. Visited with Jennifer at the window while waiting for the order and she was awesome. My experience was 5 out of 5 for quality and speed and I will return to this store in the future.
EVERY SINGLE TIME I go here you wait 15 min before they even take your order. All they care about it the drive through. I just left there now 10/28 @ 12:50. Stood in line for almost 15 minutes. Manager kept saying I'll be right with you yet continued to ignore me and the women a head of me and just kept dealing with the drive through. TERRIBLE customer service. Will never go to this location again
Wonderful enjoyable first visit! I took my daughter to this beautiful new Wendy's in Allen. We love visiting different places together and she mentioned she would like to get a frosty at Wendy's so we tried out this location for the first time. My daughter loves the company history of Wendy's when she learned how the founder Dave Thomas named the restaurant after his daughter Wendy. The more details she learns about the company story, the more it interests and inspires her. The restaurant was extremely clean, well lit, well decorated, nicely designed and smelled pleasant upon our arrival. We were greeted with warm welcomes from several Wendy's team members and directed to order at the large self checkout order screens. First time using this concept at Wendy's I've used it at McDonald's before Using the automated machines to order was a good experience overall because it always takes my daughter a while to choose what she wants so it is more relaxing and enjoyable to order at our own pace. To be able to browse the options on screen and decide while not having a cashier waiting nor lots of people behind you tapping their feet. Our payment transaction wouldn't process correctly on the self service machine at the end but the manager was quick to come over and resolve it. We went to wash our hands before eating and this location has a commonly shared sink with soap located at the end of the hallway outside the bathrooms. The mirror was even LED illuminated, fancy and elegant for that full "West Allen" experience we've become accustomed to : My daughter and I had fun interacting with the tall interactive touch-screen Coke braded pop machine some people call them soda fountains or soft drink dispensers because it offers you what feels like a million flavor combinations. She settled on a flavor for her drink and our food was then ready. What a work flow! Hot and nicely presented, after selecting the right accessories and condiments, we carried our food to the front patio. It is a covered patio with various shaded seating options on all new patio tables and chairs. The sun was golden and starting to set so it was super relaxing and made for an ideal dining experience. All this for a very reasonable price! We then realized there was an issue with my daughter's burger having cheese on it when we ordered it without cheese but the young man at the counter was very quick and helpful and promptly brought us an even fresher hotter replacement burger. He was very happy natured and extraordinarily cordial with my daughter and I. I always say, it doesn't cost a dime to be nice. In fact, being nice makes a big difference in the overall guest experience. This same friendly attitude of the people from Wendy's and the great tasting food in a beautiful modern and clean facility all add up to mean we will be visiting this location frequently. Keep up the good work guys and thanks again Wendy's team!
I've gone through the drive-thru a couple of times in the past month and taken the food home, about 5 minutes away. The staff has been friendly, the line moves quickly, and the fries were still hot and crispy when I got home. Great job!!Food: 5/5
