It was a great visit with my 2 kids. They had a nice youth area with toys, well maintained and clean. The bathrooms were clean, the lunch area had vending machines with low priced items.
We happened to be there during a session about pets and how to behave around them.

Honestly, I love studying at this library. Its usually very quiet, has a good study atmosphere, and is very accommodating. However, I cannot help but be disappointed by one key factor every time I step foot into this building. The MEN'S RESTROOM is literally always FILTHY. I am a regular patron of this library, and this problem has been  consistent within my years of regularly studying here. If this message gets out to anyone who has any authority over this matter, please see that it gets fixed!

My abslolute favorite things about this library is that it is so youth friendly. They have an entire wing devoted to children. I always see many teens here studying g and gathered at tables helping each other. I think this is wonderful, this is what a library is all about. We want our young people to have a place they can go where reading and studying are encouraged.

This is truly the BEST library!   They have a great selection of books and DVD's.  The customer service is amazing!  I am always requesting books they do not have in stock and they always order them for me.  Plus, it is a great place for daughter and her friends to study.  West Bloomfield library is a community jewel and valuable resource for the young and mature.
