Beautiful building and pretty good selection of literature for it's size. They have local events like craft days and family fun days so be sure to check out their website for programs and events. The building is almost 150 years old but is in great condition and is a treat to visit. I would recommend to anyone wanting to check out a local library or find a quiet place to read.

At first, I really thought the place was great. Moved out here and since I love to read (and books are expensive) I often go to the library. However, after being a patron here for a few months I prefer my old library to this one and here is why:
1) hours. Seems like this place closes early during the week and I have to rush there after work.
2) seldom am notified that my books are ready for pick up. Yes, I do prefer to get a call telling me my book is ready. My old library was great about that. This one...not so much. I order books and 1/3 of the time I get a call. Wonder where the book is and when I check my account it was returned for not being picked up. Nothing on my voicemail. I actually got lucky the last time because I waited 3 months for a new book and didnt know it was ready to pick up until the last day at the last hour before the library closed, so I had to rush over there and pick it up. 
Maybe Im nit-picking, but I do miss my library from home.

Good library and very neat. Great selection of books. Great programs for both adults and kids alike.

Helpful staff and a pretty good collection. Three-week borrowing is also the bomb—lots of other places you'll be hot with fines if you don't return within one or two. Perfect for people with busy lives. The building is also pretty, with a cozy courtyard.
