The physicians and all the staff are wonderful. They are professional, respectful, and genuinely nice. They go above and beyond to help their patients. Looking forward to seeing the office after they renovate the inside.

Dr Hansill is absolutely wonderful. He is responsive to my concerns and very professional and caring. Wonderful bedside manner paired with knowledge and experience. He is the only one I would trust at this point, especially after he performed my hysterectomy with ovary removal. I'm healing quickly and well under his care. Thank you, Dr. Hansill, for everything.

My wife has been a patient for 15 years with Dr. Matta and his partners. Overall, her experiences with the doctors have been satisfactory. Both our children were delivered by Dr. Lemay. There have been one or two situations where things may possibly have been better diagnosed or treated, but it is difficult to say for sure. Bottom line, the doctors are not directly the issue I have with the practice. Rather it's who they employ. My wife has had several privacy issues several times as appointments and health information have been mixed up with another patient in the practice with the same name because DOB was not checked. This happened several times, even after we asked them to flag the charts to help prevent this error. Anyway, we brushed this under the rug and never complained to anyone as it seemed like a relatively harmless, honest mistake. Even so, this is not the problem I have with the practice. The problem with the practice is the office manager. My wife had a gyn problem that was evaluated and treated by one of the docs 3 times (with nearly identical treatment regimens each time) with no improvement of symptoms. Each of these visits I was paying out of pocket about $120. This was the rate negotiated by my insurance company, and I had no problem paying for the doctor's time and expertise for those visits (though admittedly, it began to feel like we were paying for no discernable benefit to my wife.) Oh, this fee, in addition to the cost of the prescriptions. So, 4-6 weeks and $300 - $400 dollars later, a 4th appointment was soon approaching, and we began to think that maybe we should spend the $150 to get a second opinion and different treatment. However, ot the type to jump ship and doctor shop, I called the office first asking if the doctor might be willing to waive the--4th office visit for the same unimproved problem-- fee given the circumstances and long time as a patient of the practice. Everyone was very polite until the office manager got on the phone. To start, she carried a rude and condescending tone from the moment she got on the phone. She then alluded to some baloney insurance rules that would make it impossible for the doctor to not bill for the visit. I understand that there are negotiated rates and is difficult to bill less, but don't tell me it's impossible to not submit any charges if the doc sees fit. I didn't argue this with her though as I'm no expert in medical billing. I simply asked her to relay our request to the doctor and call us back one way or the other so that we can cancel my wife's appointment if they would not or could not. I don't expect favors, but I do expect common courtesy and decent communication, neither of which we received. I seriously doubt that she even spoke with the doctor about it. I really believe he would have gotten back to us. Of course, we never heard back from anyone.
