WEST COAST UNIVERSITY SUCKS! i WOULD NEVER recommend anyone to go here. WASTE OF MONEY because you DO NOT get what you pay for here. VERY UNORGANIZED SCHOOL and the staff here SUCKS!  I HATE IT HERE and its only my 2nd term at this school. I have to leave them 10 phone messages, email them over and over and FINALLY i had to physically bug them in person 5 more times to get my things done. If they can delay your graduation date they will because they want your money. Some students here are only taking ONE class per term because for some reason, the school "cant" combine those classes together, making the student pay more. Bottom line is, if I was not 30 grand in debt already, I would NOT go here!

I've been going to WCU for about a year at the OC campus. I very much recommend it. Yes, we all know this school is expensive but you are really getting what you're paying for. If I could have gotten into a cheaper BSN program, with no wait list, and graduate in less than 39 months; of course I would have gone for it...but for me, there were no other schools who could offer me that. I would honestly recommend WCU to anyone who truly has a passion for nursing; if it's about the money this is not right for you. 

Like I mentioned before, you are getting what you're paying for. The campuses are state of the art. Very clean, never used lab products, very impressive and modern. The simulation center at the La Palma campus is out of this world - absolutely top of the line; that I know for a fact no other university is set up like this. The fast pace schedule is strenuous, but I would much rather work hard for 9 weeks and get it over with, than be bored to death for 16 weeks. I think my favorite part, by far, are the other students. I have made life long friends here and after a year of going here I and never felt a cliche vibe or come in contact with rude students. They really become your family and everyone is in the same boat...which I have never really felt like at other schools. 

Some of the cons about this school is that they are very strict with grades and offer no make-up exams ( even if you are in the ER ). A LOT of the teachers are from the Middle East who have very very hard to understand accents. Some of the administration is very disorganized - you end up having to call the school numerous times for questions that should have been answered originally. You don't get to choose your schedule, and they sometimes will schedule you for 16 straight hours of classes in one day. Parking at Manchester campus is horrendous unless you want to take a shuttle. 

All in all, no school is perfect - but for me, I am happy with my decision and would recommend it.
