It's really modern, great kids section, Andrews and rows of DVDs & Blu-Ray movies to check out. They really try to keep the newest books, periodicals, and media source materials available and circulating.

Been going all my life, very nice staff, great selection, and pleasant setup. And it's usually nice and quiet in study areas.

The West Linn library has friendly staff, great resources, and access to practically anything you could want. BUT, I don't know when libraries became so loud and disruptive. This library is one of the noisiest public places I have ever been to. I never hear parents asking children to lower their voices, libraries used to be a place for quiet, now as in the case of the Wets Linn library, they have become day care centers. The meeting room is near the entrance; this layout is well thought, since most of the sound comes from there. Is it possible that sings could be posted in this otherwise awesome place, asking parents to encourage their kids to treat the library with respect, by keeping their voices lower? Our lives today are filled with constant distractions, our attention spans are getting shorter. If there was still a place where a little self-discipline could be used, things could change....

Great modern library with generous selection of books and media. Includes used book store and a dedicated children floor.

Has great selection of books and movies. Usually not a long wait. Opens one hour later than most libraries in the area which is slightly annoying. But when there is a new movie or book that is very popular, don't count on getting it soon from here.
