West Metro Fire Protection District is a full-service, all-hazard, fire and rescue agency. West Metro Fire Rescue (WMFR) was created in 1995 after the community voted to consolidate the Lakewood Fire Department and Bancroft Fire Protection District.

If I could give this company a negative star rating I most definitely would. In 2014 I had to experience the complete incompetence of two of their paramedics at a public venue. I neither solicited, wanted nor needed their assistance but due to their complete error in judgement, and refusal of my most basic rights, I've had to pay thousands of dollars.

Paid to sleep but if they actually have to work they will treat you worse than dirt if you have the misfortune to call them! This group singlehandedly made me hate firemen when they use to be revered as heroes!

My apartment building was evacuated for a false alarm. I politely asked the firefighters for some information on the cause but they did not want to acknowledge me or my questions. I was rudely snubbed in front of the other tenants whom of which were appalled at their behavior. Never experienced such arrogant firefighters!

Idiot firefighter drives recklessly cutting cars off in Belmar. He nearly crashed into my car and threatened to start a physical fight. Then he bragged about being a Lakewood fire fighter while his nasty ass GF cursed and laughed. Should've called the police from the beginning -they ran a red light as soon as I started dialing. Firefighter or not, someone with this low moral character deserves no respect for putting pedestrians and drivers in danger.

I enjoyed my phone conversation. I was listened to and directed properly to the fire captain. Even though I got his voice mail my experience was positive overall.
