I received a grant from Ozark Action in February for 413.00.  West Plains Propane has had it on acct from Feb - Oct,. 2014,  earning interest on this money for 8 months.   I informed GAIL their office staff I was moving and needed the balance transferred to another propane company.  I also called Ozark Action  and spoke with Lisa V. to verify how this had to be done,  All West Plains propane had to do was cut a check and send to Reed propane.  Easy huh?   GAIL,  THE OFFICE PERSONNEL AT WEST PLAINS PROPANE called Ozark Action and LIED,  FLAT OUT LIED and stated I said I wanted the money sent to me.  Then sent the balance back to the state,  now I have to wait until November and reapply.  I called Lisa  at Ozark Action back and verified that she said it was okay to transfer between companies,  she stated that GAIL at WP propane again stated I was asking for the money.  I called to speak with GAIL to confront the issue,  she stated she called me numerous times and left a voice mail.  SHE LIED AGAIN,  NO CALLS,  NO VOICE MAIL!!!!!!!!!,  I asked to speak with the office manager,  He said there was nothing he could do,  he was so rude and condescending.  KNOWING FULL WELL HIS OFFICE STAFF,  GAIL,  FLAT OUT LIED,  HE DIDNT SO MUCH AS APOLOGIZE,  in fact,  he hung up on me....  Keep in mind,  there are other companies that will appreciate your business,  WEST PLAINS PROPANE OBVIOUSLY DOES NOT.  They can not be trusted,  their word means nothing

I have put padlocks on my tanks, the weather is warm, keep heat at 68 degrees, I check my propane gage I am at 70%!  Three weeks pass and my son tells me the propane guy was here messing with the tank, left me a note asking if I want more propane! I get home and  look at gage it is at 40 %!    There is no way in three weeks I went through 30% of my propane! I can't prove it was bled off, but I believe everyone should padlock their tanks! I am changing propane company's! I have paid for more propane this year already then last year and it's been warm outside!

We've had West Plains Propane for 12 yrs. and have always had a good experience with them. They've been very professional and when we've needed help they've always been there for us.
