We came here for the first time on Father's Day 2022. Although they were busy, James, the owner, managed to work us in. The entire experience was delightful. We are back for the second time tonight. The service is impeccable. They serve cocktails made with premium spirits by craftsman who know how to execute. I recommend the Peasant Bread to start. I had the Coconut Curry Shrimp both times. The pasta a la vodka with shrimp was delicious as well. We capped the evening wit decaf coffee, cappuccino, lemoncello cake, and chocolate cake. Nothing disappointed!!
Love the atmosphere, the unusual art and decor, food, and most of all the service and consideration of the manager or is he the proprietor, not sure because I did not ask. Since it was my birthday, he gave us a complimentary Caesar salad with a special crunchy something added to it. It was Uber Delicious. We had such a good time.
We were all so pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome we experienced when our team came in for dinner after setting up all day for a wedding close by. I really enjoyed the food, and the service at WSG! I plan to celebrate my birthday there! The ambiance was wonderful! The food was excellent and prepared beautifully! It reminded me of a nice home cooked Sunday meal!
Always such a wonderful dining experience when we eat at the West Street Grill. The fish and chips are Devine, light and airy. The Moules Frites excellent!The limoncello cake took me right back to the Amalfi Coast. We have been celebrating our anniversary there for the past 12 years. The food is delicious, and the service is wonderful. James is a wonderful host. The atmosphere is intimate and calming. A definite must go to when in Litchfield County!
I would have taken more photos but I was too enamored with the food! The drinks were fantastic. To start, get the peasant bread. It's cheesey delicious garlic bread. Fiddlesticks and ramps were in season and were divine. The Faroe Island Salmon was some of the best cooked fish I have had in a while. I'd recommend the Limoncello cake as well! The owner is so kind and lovely to chat with too. He really made the meal special for us.
A rare find and a 10/10 recommend. The kind of restaurant I'll remember as a "must-go" for years to come anytime I'm in the area. I started with the peasant bread, and that alone would have made the visit worthwhile. So delicious. The beet salad, grilled salmon, and homemade ravioli were uniquely flavorful and fresh too. Between the classy and casual ambiance, the fresh food, and the top-notch service/ hospitality, West Street Grill delivered in every way imaginable and blew past all expectations. The staff are so passionate about their craft, and went out of their way to ensure we had the best possible dining experience. The entire staff and owner couldn't have been more welcoming. I'm confident this restaurant will host memorable meals and special moments for years to come. I can't wait to go back. Thank you for a lovely meal!

We took a ride and stumbled on this amazing gem! Cozy , quaint and all around welcoming. The owner shared ingredients and his food choices that were exceptional an delicious! The Rigatoni was the best we ever had and the Scottish salmon was delightful! Topped our dinner off with house made sorbet . So glad we found this place and will make it a favorite destination . A perfect Sunday afternoon. Thank you James for your kindness and history of this special restaurant.
What a wonderful experience. We were greeted and seated by the very kind owner, who also made a point to check in on us during our meal, and really took time to make sure our daughter 10 felt special. Our waiter was attentive, polite and professional. The atmosphere was nostalgically classy, clean, bright and open. The food was faultless. Everything we ordered came out piping hot, well seasoned and well portioned. The short ribs melted in your mouth, the salmon was perfectly cooked, and the ravioli and sauce were delicious. The peasant bread was outstanding and the carrot cake was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. We walked away very full and very happy. We can’t wait to come back!
