Located in a beautiful ocean side community, West Vancouver Memorial Library inspires people to grow in a dynamic world.Since its opening in 1950, it has flourished and grown. The Library currently serves a population of 46,000, has over 327,000 volumes and a circulation rate of 23 per capita (one of the highest in Canada). In addition to a large multi-format and multilingual collection, the Library offers a wide range of traditional and innovative events such as Friday night concerts, iPad Learn and Loan, Philosopher's Cafe, ESL Book Club, Youth Raspberry Pi workshops, Home Service and numerous programs shared with our community partners including the North Shore Writers Festival.
