Fantastic place, fun for the entire family. We enjoyed the maple syrup festival, then after breakfast strolling through the different buildings in the village was a great experience. They had horse pulled wagon and a train station. The most fun was to step inside a school and learn how teaching was done in that period of time. Overall it's a great place to spend an afternoon, small entrance fee that is totally worth it.

One of my favourite places. Charming and magical. Being there on a quiet day is like going back in time. Special events like Halloween and Christmas are not to be missed.

Loved it, so cute! Did some engagement photos here for a couple and their kids and the photos came out gorgeous! Great place to spend a Sunday afternoon in the fall

We visited for Canada Day! All of the main buildings were open with volunteers dressed in the fashions of the day. All of the volunteers were extremely knowledgeable and answered all questions confidently. There were also people in costume wandering around the village, which made it feel even more like we had taken a step back in time. The volunteers make goods that can be purchased in the general store within the village (such as crocheted animals, dish cloths, and even lace bookmarks made using bobbins). They also had lawn games, a wagon ride, and a couple of crafts for the kids! So much fun and I'm so glad we decided to spend our Canada Day there.
