The food was amazing! Kudos to the chef! I had the fish tacos and those were some of the best I have ever had. My son had the spicy burger and thought that was delicious. The fries were also very yummy. I gave a 4 star on the service only because it took our waitress a little bit to replenish drinks but I don't blame her because I think she was the only one working the tables. She was really friendly. Oh, and she recommended the pizza bites which were A+. Overall great place to eat. This was our first time and we would definitely go back.
We came here a year ago and had the most amazing experience! The bartender was wonderful and the food was amazing. So much so that being from an hour and a half away we've talked all year about coming back when we were in the area. We came in tonight, and were basically ignored the entire time. The worst service I've had. Sat down and waited 15 minutes trying to get a menu, tried to ask the bartender for one and she rudely told the wife to wait for the waitress. We were charged 3.50 each for sodas and never offered a single refill. I asked the waitress multiple times for the Cole slaw that was supposed to come with my meal and never got it. We finished eating and were stuck waiting there for another 20 minutes trying to get the bill. Again, tried to ask the bartender and she refused. Had to get our own boxes and chase the waitress down for the bill because we felt so uncomfortable in there and just wanted to leave. Coincidence that we're the only obviously queer couple in the place? Waitress sure seemed to like chatting with the other customers. Obviously not coming back again.
My pops was raving about how good the pizza was here and chill this spot is. He was not lying the pizza was the best all meat pizza I’ve had in Lansing. The Vibe here was chill and laid back and the lay out is cool. They also got some good whole wings and a fire Long Island. I encourage anybody to hit them up and see for yourself.Food: 5/5
My wife decided to put names in a bowl of places we never had been to and give them a try, this was my first pull. We were not disappointed one bit. Her pizza and my bacon Bleu cheese burger was awesome. We also tried the king combo appetizer platter. Everything was great. Wonderful neighborhood place, we'll be back for sure.
Fantastic local bar with an amazing atmosphere, cold drinks, and a large menu. Food was fresh with large portions - we had the Rueben, Prime Rib French Dip, Taco Salad, and Turkey Avacado Wrap. For appetizers we tried the breaded mushrooms and Double Baked Cheese Bread. Everything was great and the staff were super attentive even when it was busy!
First time trying this place. The grinder was good. Service was fast and friendly. Will try their pizza next time.Food: 5/5
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that Westgate served breakfast, but I knew I had to come check it out. Everything on the menu sounds delicious, and the drink specials make it even better. One of my new favorite Sunday brunch venues.
Not the best experience this time. My family loves coming here and have been for years. Got takeout tonight , told it would be 10 minutes till my order was done, showed up about 15 minutes because they looked pretty busy. Got there took a while for anyone to even say anything to me, had to say excuse me. But this is how my meal looked the fries are cold and underdone/ soggy and black? and my wrap was completely ripped. Also never got the extra ranch I paid for.
Just ordered for the first time. Food was great. Best pizza we have had since we moved to Lansing 3 years ago. Everyone inside including the customers were very warm and welcoming and we are excited to eat here again.Food: 5/5
Went here on a recommendation from a friend. Waited almost an hour for our food which was mediocre at best. No seasoning on my wife's steak. Hamburger was cold when I got it. Overall would not recommend.
