Well it's the 8th of March and March 11th is the day that people here in MO plant all of there crops of fruits and vegetables for the spring and summer.  We farmers and gardeners all know this and so should places like Ace Hardware but when I called them today to ask if they had the starter vegetable plants in yet, not only did they not have them yet but told me that they weren't going to have them for at least 2 more weeks.  2 weeks will make a big difference in my yield.  They are the only hardware store in this town.  I will be driving to Liberty from now on to buy things that I would normally by at Ace.  Every store in Liberty that I called did have the starter plants today.  Something's not right here.  Can we get some responsible managers in place at this store?

If it wasn't for my own personal knowledge of home repair and improvement this place would be utterly useless to me as anything more than a place to go for supplies, but the fact is they do offer a wide variety of items as well as decent prices on your home repair supplies. If your know what you need and don't need any help finding the right item for your project this is the place to go, but if it's knowledge you seek I would highly recomend one of the smaller stores ran by retired repairmen who know the business inside and out.
