We worship weekly to give praise to God and to remind ourselves of who we are and whose we are. Whether you are single, married, married with children, empty-nesters, or anything in-between, you can find yourself worshipping at WPC.

Story

We welcome you to Westminster Presbyterian Church! We strive to be a working church of Jesus' disciples that is a blessing to our Monument Avenue community, the city of Richmond and the world. Westminster Presbyterian is an inter-generational community that seeks to call all people to a living faith in the real world. All are welcome to come along on this journey of following Jesus.

This church is like an extension of my family. It is loving, welcoming, open to new ideas, creative in its approach to worship, and works closely with the RVA Recovery Community. We are dedicated to our mission reaching out with Christ in an ever-changing world.
This is a warm, open, inviting congregation. The main sanctuary was remodeled in 2019. They removed all the pews and replaced the seating with comfortable chairs. There is a coffee station and tables among the seats for you to enjoy a beverage during service. They make use of a fabulous organ, a grand piano and a band, so there's music for all to enjoy. This is a large building so there are two congregations that share it, Westminster Presbyterian USA and All Nations. It's not just a sign outside, this is truly a welcoming place to all.
This has been my church since my children were young. I love the mix of members from different neighborhoods and generations. The congregation is inclusive and open to new ideas, following the mission of the church to “reach out with Christ to an ever- changing world.”
Very warm and welcoming atmosphere! Congregation consists of people of all ages and families with children are welcome during the service. Westminster is a very unique place unlike any other church I have attended before.
What can I say except that WPC is our church home, and its people are our family? My husband and I have been members for 20 years, starting out as a young married couple and now parents to two teens who were baptized and raised at WPC. The people are welcoming, warm, sincere, intelligent, and open-minded. They are what make this community so very special.
Westminster is a very welcoming place to worship with the congregants being incredibly caring and open minded to anyone who needs a place to worship God. You will feel welcomed whether it is your first time visiting or your 50th time.
Welcomed warmly. Made friends quickly. This church is open to all and willing to learn and share together. Love it.
WPC is such a great place to worship with friendly, loving people that welcome all.
Our grandchildren are the sixth generation of our family at church. The service is always inspiring. They have a children's time which the kids always love. Of course a nursery is provided. The music is always wonderful. My great grandmother joined the church when it was 4 years old. A great place to go and we often have many visitors and of course friends. Come and visit.
This is a welcoming community for everyone, children included! The preaching is engaging and the people are authentic. This is a place for people to grow in their faith.
