Story

First of all, welcome and thanks for taking a closer look at what Westside Church is all about. A church is not a building, a club, or an organization. A church is a group of people who are following after God. We warmly invite you to continue your journey with us. Whether you are a person who has lots of honest questions about God or has been a church-goer for a long time you are welcome here. Single, married, young or young-at-heart, please stop by for a visit at any one of our three weekend services.
Thursdays @ 7pm and Sundays @ 9 & 11am

A place filled with the love of Christ. It overflows and is evident in so many lives. Jesus is the center and is alive here! The Word is preached with honesty and sincerity. I have been attending for 7 years now and can say that this is the most family oriented collection of people I have ever had the opportunity to be a member of. My family and I have been truly blessed. It is a safe place to ask questions and grow in your spiritual walk. The kids ministry is thriving and is a healthy environment for them to fellowship with other children and learn about Jesus. I honestly could not ask for more.

I grew up attending Westside and it has had a huge positive impact on my life and Spiritual walk. This is a place where people are hungry to connect with God and are passionate about living as followers of Christ. though I live far away now, I love any chance I have to worship with this wonderful family.

I started going to Westside Church almost 7 years ago when I met my wife while living in the Sacramento area. I felt at home shortly after attending. I started going full time to Westside when I moved to Placerville over 2 years ago. It has been a wonderful blessing being a part of the Westside family. Highly encourage everyone to join a small group within the church to get to know people even better. I enjoy seeing more and more people that I know going to Westside and calling Westside their new home church.

I started attending Westside Church 12 years ago. I was invited by a friend to come to an event with them, and loved it. Westside teaches biblical truths that challenge you to pursue God by putting him first, loving one another as Christ loved the church, and to "go" and tell the world about him in your sphere of influence. There is an overwhelming sense of community and relationship among the people. Genuine Christ followers.
