The being seated and the service was quick and prompt, but the real winner was the food. I had the Thai Asian Noodle Salad; the ingredients were fresh, and while it was light, it was so filling. My husband saved this place from before we were married 2017, so proof must be in the pudding because they have kept up their standards and service. The ambiance is cozy but grand, decorations and space are classy, and the spacing of the area is well planned out - bar space in middle - accessible all sides, seating around and then booths line the walls. Would highly recommend for families, friends getting together, and even events. They have a great space to host a party/event, and when you walk in, you greeted with the host stand and the stairs that lead you up to the event space. It is classy because you're not traveling through a crowded space or through the restaurant to get to your area.
The portions were big but the food itself was just okay. The artichoke dip was very good. The fried chicken sandwich wasn't good. The chicken was a frozen patty fried and topped with tons of sweet sauce and sweet coleslaw and the French fries were served luke warm. It was very one dimensional. We ordered the half baked chicken and that was a bit better but the chicken to side ratio was off. The service was good but the server had a very strong underarm smell and it was very off-putting. Every time he would bring the food or drinks we were hit by the smell. I would recommend only getting appetizers and drinks at this place. The main dishes weren't great.
11/1/23 @ 10:30pm This place has so many TVs! Just Came for a quick late night bite to eat. It felt like the menu had limited options. Our server Mariya was so sweet! Food tasted good, except for the french fries. They weren't the best. •Tavern Bowl $20 •Tavern Burger $17
Been going here for about 7 years. I love this place for watching sports events. We went for a friends gathering the other night. Honestly not so impressed. More recently I have needed to eat gluten free. I was unable to scour the internet in advance to find their gluten free menu. It was absent so I included it. I went with the tacos as I had read they were good. I went with chicken since the server said it was a tad spicy. No it was quite spicy. I wish I went with the fish or something else... the sides and taco extras were plenty and way to much for the # of tacos. They were good, but not amazing. As for gluten free beer I didn't see my favorites so I went with wine, another disappointment for an 'ale house'. My husband enjoyed his pot roast as usual and kids their buttered noodles. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free
I paired this tempura shrimp and crab roll with a Paloma. My husband learned how to make this summery cocktail. Shout out to Jackson who made this yummy drink for me.Food: 5/5
Great place with even better food!! Don't find to many places anymore that have Happy Hour, but this place did, enjoyed a well made Old-fashioned Ordered Spicy Tuna "Osaka Style" & Crispy Jalapeno and Hamachi Roll soooo GOOD!!! The Fig and Prosciutto with goat cheese was delicious!! Definitely be back!!Food: 5/5
Had they’re pot roast special. Pot roast had flavor but the potatoes were a bit bland. It’s miss something to be a top dish. The onions straws on the pot roast was cool, just gave it a crunch nothing else much. 7/10 for the dishFood: 4/5
No wait to be seated, accurate fast service. I got the chicken and waffle. The taste was pretty bland... I ordered the steak bacon and then it tasted amazing. The chips and guac was fresh and tasty as well.
We attended a celebration of life last weekend. Our friends had no idea how many people would be attending. It could have been 30 or up to 200. Westwood assured them they would make sure all went fine no matter how many people showed. A total of 210 people showed up. They served appetizers, dessert and drinks. It was delicious and plentiful. Great job Westwood for making sure everything went smooth for a grieving family.
The restaurant is large, it has indoor and outdoor space. We decided to eat inside and enjoy the comfort of a large table. Our server came around from time to time, so I liked that. She was friendly and polite. I think her name is Danielle, according to the receipt. As for the food, it was good, and the sliders were done per request. I also tried a burger, and it was also good, I personalized it with what I wanted, and I think I'll keep in mind to come and try that. As for the drinks, I asked for something with mezcal, and it was ok. I'll stick to beer next time since the mixed drinks are not the best. Overall, I like the food and service, not the mixed drinks.
