Houston's Largest Waterpark! The park that gives you MORE!

Story

Wet’n’Wild SplashTown is Houston’s largest water park featuring 41 slides, rides and attractions, the most rides and attractions of any water park in the city. Wet'n'Wild SplashTown opened in 1994, and is located off Interstate 45 in Spring, Texas. The water park provides Greater Houston residents with family-friendly entertainment all summer long, along with a variety of food and drink options for all ages. In 2014, the 80-acre water park underwent a multi-million-dollar transformation including the addition of three new attractions: FlowRider, Big Kahuna and Wet'n'Wild Jr. This season, the park will open its newest ride, Alien Chaser.

Great water park. Amazingly fun slides and toddlers area. I gave it 3 stars because of the inability to bring in a cooler and the outrageous food prices. $12 for a cheeseburger??? Come on...lets make this a little more family friendly. Even the meal purchase option on the season ticket is outrageous. And drinks......$20 for a cup you have to lock up (because it will get stolen) and then $1.35 refills. However I will say the security is much improved. I felt very safe this year. In the parking lot and inside the park.

Pros: Lines were decent. Plenty of shaded tables inside the park as long as you get there early. Cons: You have to pay for parking-$10 and you have to rent a tube-$6 for their lazy river. No outside food allowed but you can leave to your car for a picnic. No shade in parking lot and limited areas outside of the park to picnic. Lots of poolside chairs that were empty where people place their towels so you can't find a place to lounge. First and likely the last time I visit this park. Parking should be free and tubes for the paradise river should be made available for free.

Pros: - Lines are not long for rides Cons: - You have to pay for parking $10 (minimum) - Even discount tickets are expensive - The park itself is small - Food prices are insane - Tubes have to be rented (only rides have provided tubes). If you want a tube for the tiny lazy river or wave pool you have to pony up yet more money. - The pools and lazy river are dirty. I can understand the leaves and debris after a storm. However, the scaly, brown, nasty sludge that is caked on above the water line in nearly all pools/water areas is just disgusting. The walkways that you go under via the lazy river there is mold and a smell of urine near bushes. Considering all of these things my family will not be returning to this park. We have many other water park options in the Houston area for comparable prices that are clean, well maintained and have reasonable food costs.

I do not even want to give one star to this facility. I purchased 15 tickets at the group rate on line. Hurricane Harvey hit and our flights to Houston were cancelled. We have no plans to be in Houston with our group again. I am being told they will not refund me the money. I am very disappointed in this company. I cannot even get anyone to call me back. I have emailed and they just keep emailing me they wont refund me. I have called several time and they take my name and number and say they will have someone call me back and no one has. DO NOT BY TICKETS AHEAD OF TIME. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

We love this place! Love the different areas for children and the lazy river is cool. I love the Brain Drain , and the Alien Chaser was not what I was expecting (quite a rush). The days we've went, the lines weren't terrible. Love the wrist bands for season pass holders, but wish you could add money to them online.
