Last week I ordered from a Deli. At the end of my order, the following was stated, "We'll see you within the hour."  Almost 3 hours later and several phone calls,  I received my order.

I was subsequently told they said they couldn't give me a delivery time.  This was not factual on my original order.  My order was also missing condiments for soups and other items. 

With other options, it's unlikely I will not make this error again.

I have had countless, entirely positive experiences on the phone with Wheel Deliver over the past several years, and the positive ones include instances where employees have taken the time to double check with restaurants regarding allergy information and helped me make adjustments when necessary - that's going above and beyond. The delivery drivers have always been nothing less than exceptional! Only once or twice have I spoken with an employee on the phone who didn't provide absolutely exceptional customer service, and even then, they got the job done; they may not have been overwhelmingly obliging, but they certainly weren't providing bad customer service, either. 

 It's a privilege to use their service and to be able to depend on them to get my order correct and on time every single time I place an order. I'm not the kind of person who writes reviews, but when a few negative ones popped up, I was very surprised; I had to counter those statements with my own 100% positive experiences.

I have used this service when in a pinch for dinner numerous times over the last couple years. Tonight I had one of the single worst customer service experiences of my life. Ordered two entrees. Only one was delivered, the driver Terry who was very kind and professional admitted this mistake and immediately went back for the other. 45 minutes had gone by since the first delivery so I called the office to get an estimate on the arrival of the second dinner. This is when things went from bad to worse. I spoke to Patty who may have the worst customer service of anyone I have ever encountered in my life. I was blamed for the error because I used the quantity option in their online ordering (why does it exist if I can't use it?) I was laughed at when I described my issue to her and I was offered a free delivery charge on my next visit. That's $5 for a 2 hour delivery with one entree arriving an hour before the other and less than 10% of the money I spent. Terry was a saving grace as he genuinely apologized and felt awful for the mix up but after dealing with patty it was one too many strikes. Customer service in any industry can be a saving grace or turn an experience even worse. To have somone who mocks customers and assigns blame answering the phone is simply moronic. Go another route for food delivery in Pittsburgh. I know I will moving forward.

This is my favorite when I don't want to cook...The delivery is usually within 60 minutes and the charges are reasonable. I have ordered for over 10 years and have always been satisfied

Twice they delivered my pizza with the toppings stuck to the top of the box.They did credit me back, but basically blamed the pizza shop.Terrible customer service. The person I spoke with (who identified themselves as the owner) is very rude and condescending. Made it very clear that she did not care if I ordered from them again or not. I won't.
