I've been going here for 13 plus years and I can honestly say they have one of the best bacon cheese burger / chocolate milkshake combos east of the Mississippi. Tell Brenda at the diner I sent you.

I love breakfast and was really excited to try Wheeler's. I love the drug store/diner thing but this place just didn't do it for me. Breakfast was awful; the sausage tasted like refrigerator. Coffee was bad beyond all reason. I would love for someone to say that I just went on a bad day.
It lacked charm and warmth—none of the stainless steel vibe that I was hoping for. That didn't factor into my review, however. My low rating is purely due to the poor quality of the food.
If you want a good meal at a charming little drug store, I highly recommend waiting until you have time to drive out to Wilmore and go to Tastebud's/Sim's
