WHIMS is a new boutique opened by two local artists, Susan Sadler and Beth Redpath, in the Bailey's Shopping Center on Sanibel Island. The shop has a great eclectic mix of clothing from cashmere to tunics, unusual jewelry, and colorful accessories. There are also gifts for you and your home, as well as a fun mix of local art. A Delightful Surprise! I've been visiting Sanibel Island for decades, so it takes something pretty special to SURPRISE and DELIGHT me. Whims did all that and more! When major transition comes my way, I head to Sanibel Island. In January 2015 I did my grocery shopping and decided to walk the shops. This time I found a fabulous new shop called Whims on Periwinkle nestled in the corner of Bailey's Plaza. Fabulous meant a great selection of quality, beautiful women's clothing, accessories, and truly whimsical, creative works of art - some wearable, some hangable. Not only that, I met Wendy, a remarkable woman who stepped away from Corp America to follow her artistic passions. Looking forward to returning...
